The Botanist is the first and only Islay dry gin available at this time. In addition to the nine classic gin botanicals, it uses 22 local herbs and flowers foraged responsibly and by hand from the hills, shores and bogs by their team of botanical scientists. This fascinating seasonal cocktail is then slow "simmer" distilled for seventeen hours in their unique Lomond pot-still at low-pressure, so that the botanicals are gently coaxed into releasing their complex, signature aromatics.
