Domaine Pierre Richard - Cremat du Jura Rose NV (750ml)

Composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, this wine exudes vibrant notes of fresh red fruits, specifically strawberries, complemented by the deeper scent of morello cherries. Its dryness, combined with a delightful perlage, tempts one to continuously reach for another sip. The vines from which these grapes originate thrive in gravelly-marl soils. Harvesting is a meticulous hand-only process, followed by a selective sorting of the grapes. Primary spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks over a span of 10-15 days. The wine benefits from resting on its lees for 15 months without any stirring. The blending and bottling processes coincide with the subsequent year's harvest. To enhance its flavor profile, the wine undergoes a 12-month aging process on lees in its bottle, pre-disgorgement.
