The French are fond of wordplay. "Rû" means a small stream, closely resembling "rue," which means street, often associated with informal gatherings. This wine, ideal for such casual events, was initially intended to be named "vin de rû." However, French labeling regulations restrict the size of the word "Vin," prompting a clever change to "Vain."

Afterward, the juice was moved to fiberglass tanks for maturation. The wine presents a delightful freshness, with subtle notes of acacia and grapefruit. It's perfectly enjoyable on its own or paired with a variety of dishes like oysters, seafood, chicken, and a broad array of vegetable-based meals.
