Folicello is small organic farm in emilia-romagna, founded in 1980. The estate is owned and operated by husband and wife team, marco and antonella, who initially started producing wines for personal consumption and to share with their friends. Their methods are artisanal, planting and picking the grapes themselves, working in a tiny cellar on the property, and today they are joined by their daughters who are carrying on the family tradition. A rustic, dry lambrusco with a mix of the grape's signature fruity-floral and earthy funk. refermentation is done in bottle, the old fashioned "col fondo" way, and left unfiltered. Grapes are organic and yeasts are all indigenous. This bottling is entirely comprised on the Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro variety.
