A Ruth Lewandowski - "Anos" California White 2023 (750ml)

40% Montepulciano, 30% Trebbiano, 30% Friulano from Fox Hill Vineyard, Mendocino, CA. 

A blend conceived from merely noticing that three stacks of barrels all in line contained wine from grapes ending in “-ano.” It made me giggle saying them all in my most exaggerated Italian accent, so I made a little mock blend right then and there. I loved it and had to share it. Sometimes inspiration can come in the simplest of forms and yield something far from ordinary.
