The Domaine de Wilfrid Rousse, practicing organic farming, is situated on the right bank of the Vienne River, to the west of Chinon. Starting in 1987, the year it produced its first vintage, the estate initially had just one hectare under cultivation. Over time, with a focus on selecting the right terroirs and ensuring a balance in soil types and vine exposure, it has expanded to encompass 19 hectares.
